Chain Repair Example Invoice

Ask client the length of chain they would like to have replaced and make a note

Many times they do not know what length they originally bought, but this is a good starting place

"The standard length of chain on all our pieces is 16 inches. If you bought one off the shelf, it is probably 16 inches, but we can measure this one to see it's approximate lenght."

Measure the length of the current chain, and make a note of the length, colour and style

Make a note of the style and metal colour of the pendant they are having fixed

ex: SS Sand Embossed Island Necklace, RGF Sweetheart Necklace

If they have the broken chain give them the chain recycling discount and tell them they got the discount

"Because you brought in your broken chain, we give you $10.00 towards your new chain and we will recycle the old one."

If the customer asks, you may "Add payment schedule"

Do not offer this unless they ask for layaway or if they can make payments

Click "Add payment schedule"

Request initial deposit - On

Split balance into milestones - On

We recomend 50% deposit but we can do as low as 20%

We do not purchase materials for the jewelry until 50% has been reached

The time in which we complete the jewelry (usually 6-8 weeks) begins when we have 50% payment and the time period may have changed since first payment (busy times like Christmas and Summer)

You may split the remaining balance over several payments

They are defaulted to intervals of 30 days, but you can manually adjust the dates
